Anime Zero Weapons (October 2026)

Editorial contact: Raymond

Weapons last verified:

All 11 summonable weapons with rarity, tier, named synergies and full evolution material costs, last verified on October 9, 2026. Rarity decides how hard a weapon is to obtain; evolution cost decides how soon you can actually use it.

How weapons work

  • Weapons (called units) are rolled from the Arsenal using Spins and Lucky Spins. Lucky Spins have a better chance of higher rarity.
  • You can equip 2 weapons at once and swap with T.
  • Evolution unlocks the fourth skill (the ultimate) for a weapon. Use the Areas button to reach the Evolution NPC.
  • Since the Oct 4 rollback every spin counts toward pity, including normal spins. Epic and Legendary have no pity floor.

EpicLegendaryMythicArcaneLYTH

Anime Zero key art showing the LYTH character roster

Tier S — 3 weapons

Cataclysm

LYTHS

Damage-immune melee with lightning-fast katana strikes and large frost bursts

Damage immunity on all moves, and the cheapest LYTH evolution in the game

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode60
  • Mana Feathers — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode30
  • Wave Cores — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode10
  • Soul Fragments — Chapter 112
  • Magic Pendants — Chapter 14
  • Gems3,000

Best for

  • Story and Endless clears
  • Players who want safety plus damage

Often the smarter first evolution target than Flame Director because the material cost is far lower. Pairs with Lights of Divinity for +8% speed and −5% cooldowns.

Flame Director

LYTHS

Boss killer with i-frames on every move and buffed M1s, skills and ultimate

Ultimate one-shots bosses with the Deadeye Trait; i-frames on all moves

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode20
  • Magic Pendants — Chapter 18
  • Ghosts — Spirit’s Bathtub raid (Nightmare only)25
  • Staffs of Homa — Spirit’s Bathtub raid (Nightmare only)10
  • Gold — Stage clears1,000,000
  • Gems10,000

Best for

  • Boss one-shots
  • Raids when paired with Deadeye

The strongest pick overall, and the most expensive to unlock. Ghosts and Staffs of Homa only drop in the Nightmare-only raid, so plan the farm before committing.

Cursed King

ArcaneS

Peak Arcane damage with high-speed slashes, large fire bursts and domain control

Best damage outside the two LYTH weapons; the go-to raid pick

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode45
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 120
  • Cursed Fingers — Chapter 110
  • Magic Pendants — Chapter 14
  • Gems1,750

Best for

  • Raids
  • Best non-LYTH damage option

Pairs with Immortal Sovereign for +10% damage. Better to combo with a LYTH weapon for base synergy than to chase Cursed King synergy.

Tier A — 2 weapons

Immortal Sovereign

MythicA

Flexible Mythic damage synergy option

Best beginner option reachable with codes; +10% damage with Cursed King

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode30
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 112
  • Soul Fragments — Chapter 16
  • Magic Pendants — Chapter 13
  • Gems1,250

Best for

  • Story and Defend content
  • Second slot before an S-tier pull

Mythic rarity is reachable through Lucky Spins and code rewards. A safe second slot while you farm toward an S-tier weapon.

Dragon Eclipse

MythicA

Heavy close-range damage with an awakened ultimate that shreds early Endless bosses

Carries one of the best damage-and-drop titles in the game

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode30
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 112
  • Cursed Fingers — Chapter 16
  • Magic Pendants — Chapter 13
  • Gems1,250

Best for

  • Endless bosses
  • Players who want a damage title

Slower swings than Immortal Sovereign. The title is an easy way to add damage and drop rate without another weapon.

Tier B — 2 weapons

Divine Emperor

ArcaneB

Decent blade damage with Conqueror’s Haki reach

+15% Maximum Health with Rubber Man

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode45
  • Mana Feathers — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode20
  • Wave Cores — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode10
  • Forbidden Fruit — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode4
  • Gems1,750

Best for

  • Nothing especially — mostly a stepping stone

Its only synergy is with Rubber Man, which wastes the pairing. Investment is only justified if you are completing that combo.

Lights of Divinity

MythicB

Strong burst combos, Excalibur-style swings

+8% speed and −5% cooldowns with Cataclysm

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode30
  • Broken Blades — Chapter 212
  • Tech Components — Chapter 26
  • Sun Cores — Chapter 33
  • Gems1,250

Best for

  • Support slot beside Cataclysm

Looks average alone but jumps in value next to Cataclysm. The only pairing that boosts speed and cooldowns together.

Tier C — 3 weapons

Kings Gambit

LegendaryC

Weapon-swap focused moveset with deceptive range

+20% Ultimate charge rate with Twisted Agony

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode20
  • Broken Blades — Chapter 210
  • Tech Components — Chapter 25
  • Gems750

Best for

  • Early rooms before a stronger pull

Decent synergy with Twisted Agony but gets outscaled quickly once codes make higher rarities easy to reach.

Twisted Agony

LegendaryC

Fast acrobatics mixed with scythe attacks

+20% Ultimate charge rate with Kings Gambit

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode20
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 110
  • Cursed Fingers — Chapter 15
  • Gems750

Best for

  • Early-game clears

Keep it while progressing, then replace. Do not sink rare materials into a Legendary evolution.

Rubber Man

EpicC

Quick combos with heavy hits

+15% Maximum Health with Divine Emperor

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode8
  • Shinobi Scrolls — All chapters3
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 13
  • Gems200

Best for

  • Second slot alongside Divine Emperor

Better than other Epics because of the Divine Emperor synergy, but still outclassed easily.

Tier D — 2 weapons

Cosmic Warrior

EpicD

Synergy pairing with Thunder Prodigy, otherwise weak

−10% cooldowns with Thunder Prodigy

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode8
  • Shinobi Scrolls — All chapters3
  • Eyeballs — Chapter 13
  • Gems200

Best for

  • Placeholder slot on a low budget

Costs only 200 Gems to evolve, so it makes a fine placeholder. The Thunder Prodigy pairing actually lowers your cooldowns, which is a drawback rather than a benefit.

Thunder Prodigy

EpicD

Same weak profile as Cosmic Warrior

Synergy slot with Cosmic Warrior, but the −10% cooldown penalty is a drawback

Evolution cost

  • Fine Cloth — All chapters and Infinite mode8
  • Shinobi Scrolls — All chapters3
  • Mana Feathers — Chapter 3 and Infinite mode3
  • Gems200

Best for

  • Placeholder slot on a low budget

Replace as soon as you pull anything better. Listed for completeness because the 200-Gem cost makes it a common early evolution.

Raid-only weapons

These cannot be rolled from the Arsenal at any spin count. The only source is the Spirit’s Bathtub raid on Nightmare difficulty.

Pairing

Weapon synergies

Every named pair below is worth more than two unrelated weapons of the same combined rarity. Check both equipped slots before deciding a pull is a upgrade.

Titles

Titles add stats without taking a gear slot. The Dragon Eclipse title is the easiest route to extra damage and drop rate.

Dragon Eclipse

Easy way to add damage and drop rate

Obtain: Own the Dragon Eclipse weapon

Flame Director

Harder to obtain, but adds large damage plus a lot of other stats

Obtain: Own the Flame Director weapon

Cursed King

A quick, easy damage boost

Obtain: Own the Cursed King weapon

Paramita Pyre

+15% Damage, +20% Health, +3.5 Movement Speed, +5% Cooldown Reduction, +5% Drop Rate

Obtain: Beat the Spirit’s Bathtub raid boss without using your Ultimate

Decide

Where to start

Both Mythic-rarity weapons are reachable through Lucky Spins and code rewards, so they are the practical starting point: Immortal Sovereign and Dragon Eclipse. Use them as the second slot while you farm toward an S-tier pull, then check the tier list before committing evolution materials. The exact reroll maths is on the calculator.

  • Codes give out hundreds of Lucky Spins, which makes low rarities obsolete fast — chase Mythic and up before farming Epics.
  • Evolve your main weapon first. Evolution unlocks the ultimate, which is the single biggest power spike in the game.
  • Any two weapons give +5% damage, so a named synergy pair is always better than two unrelated top-tier weapons.
  • Fine Cloth drops across all chapters and Infinite mode, so it is never the bottleneck — the raid materials are.
Common questions

FAQ

What is the best weapon in Anime Zero?

Flame Director and Cataclysm are the two LYTH weapons and hold the top of the ranking. Flame Director one-shots bosses with the Deadeye Trait but needs raid-only materials; Cataclysm is far cheaper to evolve and often the smarter first target.

How do you get weapons in Anime Zero?

Weapons are rolled from the Arsenal using Spins and Lucky Spins, and Lucky Spins have a better chance at higher rarity. You can equip two at a time and swap between them with T. Paramita Pyre is the exception — it only drops from the Nightmare-only raid.

What is the pity system in Anime Zero summons?

Published pity floors are Mythic 175, Arcane 350 and LYTH 3,500 spins. Since the Oct 4 rollback, both normal Spins and Lucky Spins count toward pity. Epic and Legendary have no pity floor.

What does weapon Evolution do in Anime Zero?

Evolution unlocks the fourth skill, the ultimate, for that weapon. Use the Areas button to reach the Evolution NPC. It is the largest single power spike in the game, which is why evolving your main weapon comes before anything else.

Which weapon should I evolve first?

Cataclysm if you want a strong build without a raid dependency, Flame Director if you can already clear Nightmare and want the boss-killing ceiling. Evolution costs are listed per weapon below so you can compare them directly.

Do weapon synergies matter in Anime Zero?

Yes. Any two equipped weapons give a base +5% damage, and named pairs give more. Cursed King with Immortal Sovereign adds +10% damage, Cataclysm with Lights of Divinity gives +8% speed and −5% cooldowns. A named pair usually beats two unrelated top-tier weapons.
